The Temple Bar has enjoyed a whiskey blending tradition dating back to the 1840s. However this practice was discontinued during the 1950s.
In recent times The Cleary Family have rekindled the blending tradition by sourcing casks of whiskey from different distilleries. Right in the heart of cobble stoned Temple Bar, in the historic cellars of The Temple Bar, our specially selected whiskeys are blended and left to age, where they mature to perfection over many years.
By creating a replica of how it was done in former times, The Temple Bar today showcases a collection of individually distinctive Irish Whiskeys, each one different to the next depending on the blending and the ageing process.
Therefore, each cask has its own narrative, its own distinctive creation and flavour profile. It’s yours to enjoy!
